Rachel kolokousis
Hi, I'm Rachel.
I grew up in a Protestant church and always admired Jesus for His teachings, but for a long time, I didn’t actually know Him as a person. I saw Him more as a historical figure or moral example than as a living Savior.
In my early adult years, I drifted away from the church and entered into a mix of free-thinking, New Age spirituality—believing things like “God is the universe” and trying to manifest a life I thought would fulfill me. But instead of finding peace, I spiraled. I battled intense intrusive thoughts and mental torment, and honestly, I feared that if things got worse, I wouldn’t make it.
But Jesus—full of mercy—left the 99 to come after me. On October 28th, 2023, I tossed my crystals in the trash and baptized myself in the shower. That moment changed everything.
Since then, I’ve been all in for Jesus. It hasn’t been without struggles—healing and walking in truth is a daily choice—but I’ve never experienced love, peace, and purpose like this before. Jesus gave me my mind back, my life back, and most importantly, He gave me Himself.
I’m so thankful to be part of a community that values real encounters with God, and I’m excited to see what He continues to do in and through us.
