Hi, I'm Kayla Banks—AKA SHOOTA!
At 28 years old, I proudly serve as one of the leaders of our vibrant young adults movement. Originally from Houston, TX, my journey into organ procurement has been a significant leap of faith, one that led me to a community that is my family.

Through my experiences, I’ve learned that God qualifies the called, and that leaving and going are two very different things. Choosing to leave was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made—it opened the door to incredible opportunities and personal growth.

Photography is a deep passion of mine. I’m continually in awe of the privilege to capture people the way God sees them—through the lens of His love and purpose.

My favorite Scripture, Psalm 23, reflects the faith and guidance I rely on daily. Family and love are at the core of who I am. Growing up surrounded by strong support shaped my values and fueled my desire to help others find that same sense of belonging.

I believe deeply in the power of community—just like we see in the book of Acts. When believers come together in unity, something powerful happens. We uplift, inspire, and remind each other that everyone has value and purpose.
